Why The Dragon Medical Chrome Extension Might Not Be The Best Choice For Your Business

Chrome extensions have become a staple in our daily lives, helping to organize daily schedules and transform the way we conduct our businesses. However, not all chrome extensions live up to expectations. According to user reviews and its aggregate rating of 1.72 out of 5, the Dragon Medical chrome extension is one such chrome tool that seemingly falls short. It's a chrome text to speech software app that, rather than helping users organize daily tasks, has been reported to hinder productivity . But why is this so? Let's delve into it.

Shortcomings of the Dragon Medical Chrome Extension

Many users have voiced their frustrations with the Dragon Medical chrome extension, identifying consistent crashes as a major problem. Lucian Cajacob and Dr. Kenneth Gerszberg, among others, have reported that the extension crashes several times a day, disrupting their workflow. The constant need to restart the extension can be a significant disadvantage for those looking to streamline their business operations.

Furthermore, allegations of the extension being laden with bugs and idiosyncrasies have been expressed by users such as John Fulop. These apparent software glitches not only frustrate users but also undermine the reliability of the extension.

Customer Service Concerns

Another key issue that has been raised is the lack of adequate customer support. Emad Abdelsatar mentioned he received no help after reaching out to Dragon, which can be a huge deal-breaker for users who encounter difficulties using the extension, further bringing down the reputation of the extension.

The Silver Lining

Despite the generally negative reviews, some users have found value in the Dragon Medical chrome extension. Stefan Arnon mentioned that after learning the idiosyncratic features, he found the extension useful for his radiology reports. This suggests that the extension may work better for some users, but the overall low rating indicates that this is not the norm.

Is Dragon Medical Chrome Extension Worth It?

The low rating and the negative user reviews paint a concerning picture of the Dragon Medical chrome extension. From frequent crashes to lack of customer support, the extension does not appear to be an ideal tool for those seeking to organize their daily life effectively, especially in a business setting.

Chrome extensions are meant to enhance productivity and simplify tasks, but when they become a hindrance rather than a help, it might be time to consider other options. Therefore, based on the information gathered, it's advisable to explore other top extensions that can better suit your needs.

crashes and taking a Hugh! space on the hard disk and memory making the computer running very very slow. Appalling for the £500 annual fee shame on you!

Dear Nuance Communications, it think is time to finally improve this miserable add on for google chrome. crashes several times a day.

Peter Niemczyk

Unfortunatelly Nuance was purchased by Microsoft. So you have to go the Microsoft Edge internte browser where it works perfectly

John N

It is a shame that Nuance does not care about the products they have already sold. They only want you to "upgrade" to their new subscription service and pay the equivalent of one license every year instead of being able to use this produce for at least 3-4 years then upgrade like in the past. More money for nuance!. I was forced to upgrade my last version of dragon medical simply because it would not longer allow me to install. It seems that athough you would uninstall the product from an old computer the Nuance server would not credit you so you ended up using ability to move the product when you upgraded your computer. If it were not for the powermic function dragon would be a complete waste. Free voice recognition from google, microsoft and apple has better recognition than Nuance. I would pay for them to format it better for EMRs.

John Fulop

I suspect that they have deliberately put bugs in and idiosyncrasies to force us into their new online version which of course will cost more money even though I paid a lot for the desktop version

Dr. Kenneth Gerszberg

Crashes constantly as everyone else has mentioned.

Emad Abdelsatar

Is there ZERO stars? it crashes and does not work. tried everything including calling Dragon. NO HELP!!!

Stefan Arnon

Am surprised at all the negative reviews. Having learned all its idiosyncratic features, it works for me. I use it all day long for my radiology reports and type my letters with it.

Jeffrey Kleiman

Simply does not work.

Vimal Veerappan
